Hey all, reminder for our upcoming meeting on Saturday, May 18, 1pm at the IHOP in SLO.  John Siler has arranged for the San Luis Obispo Poet Laureate, Ivan Brownotter to give a presentation at our meeting.  I don’t about the rest of you, but I sure could use a little more culture in my life.  Please invite any family member you think my be interested in this event.  I have also extended an invitation to the El Paseo Robles DAR members to attend. Please let me know if you or any family member will be attending.  We may have a larger group than normal and I want to give IHOP a head count.

Please let me know if you have any items for the agenda.  The agenda items so far are:

1.  Flag Certificates.
2.  ROTC Award
3. Upcoming State Conference

It's with considerable sadness that I report that one of our oldest members has passed away.  Gary Cooper, past president, treasurer and registrar, passed away April 28, 2019.
His wife, Vonda, said there would be no service or funeral as he wished and he will be buried in the family plot in Turlock, CA.
Rest in Peace, Gary
