Central Coast Chapter Minutes for April 15, 2017
Meeting to order: 1:03 PM
Attendance: 12 Members, 1 Guest
Invocation
Pledges of Allegiance & SAR
Guest speaker John Lindsay, Chief Meteorologist for PG&E
had to cancel but will be the featured speaker in May.
Secretary’s Report: Motion (E. Rader) to accept the March
minutes as read. Seconded (Tissue). Motion carried.Treasurer’s Report: Current account balance remains at $3093.29.
Pres. Haynes also reported that our chapter is no longer
required to file with the CA Attorney General as a charitable trust.
Our new member is William Harris and we have two pending.
A general discussion ensued covering such disparate topics
as the weather, power outages, the Boy Scout essay competition, merit badges
and Eagle Scouts.
John Siler announced that there would be a Bill Siler
remembrance during the week of May 5th. Probably to be held at the
French Bakery on The Embarcadero in Morro Bay. The exact date and time to
follow.
