Guest Speaker #2: John Peschong currently SLO Co. Supervisor
for District #1. John also served in the Reagan Administration. John has been a

force housing is particularly a big problem. Tax revenues are on the decline
and as a result county employment is frozen. The decommissioning of Diablo
Canyon continues to cause some concern particularly with the loss of good jobs
and tax revenue. Fire protection and the Sheriff’s office continue to receive
the most emphasis. Cannibis legalization also presenting some unique
challenges. Water availability and issues with the Army Corps of Engineers
continue to bother north county. To be continued. Following Q&A, Supervisor
Peschong was also awarded a cannon.
