At his Eagle Court of Honor on January 28, 2019, Bill Crewe from the Central Coast Chapter of SAR presented Joshua T. (JT) Kommer of Troop 6 with a check and a certificate recognizing his attainment of the rank of Eagle Scout.
In reaching the rank of Eagle, JT earned 24 Merit Badges. For his Eagle project, he made a 12-foot bench and 6 foot return for his youth group at his church. He completed his Eagle Board of Review on December 17, 2018. JT participated in Boy's State in the summer of 2018 between his junior and senior years. He began his Scouting career with Troop 583 in Castaic Lake, CA and transferred to Troop 6 in San Luis Obispo when his family moved.
